Cheerleading

The Hardin-Jefferson High School 2023-2024 Cheerleading squads are made up of some of the hardest working students of H-J.  There are 19 students on the Varsity Squad and 18 on the Junior Varsity Squad. They cheer for the football teams, volleyball team, basketball teams and attend many other events throughout the school year.  These students often play other sports, hold class offices, as well as take on a rigorous class load of academics.  Here at H-J we want our students to be as involved in all areas of the school as possible. If this is a group that you would like to be a part of, contact the coach, Alicia Rutherford, at aliciarutherford@hjisd.net.  We do have a yearly tryout procedure that usually begins in February.
