Assistant Principal
I was raised in Midland, Texas, and graduated from Midland Lee High School in 2005. I continued my education at Texas State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2009. I began my teaching career at Midland Lee High School in 2010 before relocating to Beaumont in 2014 to teach at Hardin-Jefferson High School. During that time, I pursued and completed my master’s degree in Engineering from Texas Tech University, graduating in 2017.
While teaching at HJHS, I met my husband, Josh Rutherford, who is a math teacher and coach at Hardin-Jefferson High School. We married in 2018 and are blessed with three wonderful children: Cannon (6), Malachi (3), and Abigail Kate (1). In 2023, I was grateful for the opportunity to step into an administrative role as Assistant Principal, continuing my passion for serving students, staff, and the school community.
